I visited this institution in Mysore recently. The first impression was the fact that the place was kept not only very clean, but very well maintained. Just about the lunch time, twenty to twenty-five boys descended into the hall for lunch and all of them in dhotis and very clean and looking very radiant. It was a pleasure watching them to get ready for lunch by fetching the plates and glasses and mats.
Just before starting lunch, the recital of veda began and lasted for five minutes. During lunch ‘anthakshari’ in veda continued till the finish. I spoke to the secretary of the institution to find out how this lunch program was run. Came to know it is a sponsored event. More on this Appeal…….
