A quadrant OR the A-square quadrant as I call it is for you to remember it as Acquire and Apply quadrant.
This quadrant represents the learning that represents a Teacher-Student model, Trainer-Trainee model or any other model where the learning process develops by acquiring from someone the knowledge that can applied to further the studies.
In its simplistic representation of the A-square model, the model embodies several profound aspects of learning in this quadrant. That someone whom we Acquire is worthy of acquiring from. So the person will be an expert or knowledgeable enough to impart the knowledge to others. The person who is applying the knowledge learnt would be applying it for many reasons. To score excellent grades at school or university, to excel at work or to excel at applying that knowledge for a great research.
